THE NEW COOPERATION BETWEEN ASACERT AND PROMOITALIA IS HERE: ANOTHER STEP IN THE JOURNEY TOWARDS THE PROTECTION AND THE SPREAD OF ITALIAN AUTHENTIC FOOD AND WINE AND AGRI-FOOD CULTURE IN THE WORLD

PROMOItalia is an association for the promotion of food and wine culture and the enhancement of Italian restaurant techniques in China, Hong Kong and Macao.

The new collaboration with ASACERT aims to spread the ITA0039 | 100% Italian Taste Certification project on the Chinese territory. The protocol was born from the collaboration between ASACERT and Coldiretti (the major organisation representing agricultural entrepreneurs at Italian and European level) and promoted by the Minister of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies as a unique and reliable tool for the certification, protection and defence of the authentic Italian food and wine culture in the world.

The certification developed by ASACERT favours the promotion of Italian food excellence, through the fight against counterfeiting and the contrast of the phenomenon of fake Italian food called “Italian Sounding”.

PROMOItalia and ASACERT will collaborate to realise a series of initiatives including: promoting the value and uniqueness of Italian agri-food products in the field of Italian catering abroad, particularly in the Chinese territory, by raising awareness in regarding the risk of counterfeiting, the definition of marketing and communication programs and actions, which include the enhancement of the Italian food and wine heritage, and the promotion of the Italian supply chain, especially through the ITA0039 protocol.

This new partnership represents a moment of growth, the synergy between reliable and qualified operators is a winning strategy for the spread of the priceless Italian agri-food heritage.
