Thanks to a long list of spokespeople for Italian cuisine abroad, this iconic dish of Roman cuisine has expatriated, enjoying enormous success. Pasta, guanciale, eggs, Roman pecorino cheese, salt and pepper are the ingredients needed to prepare “pasta alla carbonara”.
