To identify true Italian restaurants ASACERT has set some selective criteria contributing to a final “real italian experience” rating

Raw Materials

For example the use of oil, flours, dairy products and sausages of Italian origin.

Menu

For example the proposal of dishes from the Italian culinary tradition and their exact denomination, possibly bilingual and with description.

Wine List

For example the proposal of wines representing the Italian oenology and their number proportionally higher than wines from other countries

Personnel

For example the presence of at least one waiter with Italian origins or Italian-speaking, the presence in the kitchen of at least one staff member with Italian origins or with significant working experiences in the Italian restaurant field.

Made in Italy Promotion

For example the presence in the restaurant of a space for the sale of typical products, events, meetings or tastings related to the Italian food and wine, a collaboration with magazines, websites, guides or Italian tourism promotion agencies.
