The theme of this year, in occasion of the Innovation Summit, is “Rethinking Food”, with a future perspective. ASACERT attends Gulfood bringing the ITA0039 | 100% Italian Taste Certification protocol, dedicated to Italian restaurants abroad, created with Coldiretti and Filiera Agricola Italiana, with the support of ANRA and IFSE.

In the huge exhibition area, the stands display their products with the aim of making them known to buyers all over the world. Unfortunately, it is impossible not to come across Italian Sounding products: “Itallian Pasta”, “Pizzarella” and “Alba Cheese” produced in Australia with Australian milk, are some of the most popular Italian fakes and yet, the thousand shades of Parmesan, with its sad record that crowns it as one of the most counterfeited products in the world, according to Coldiretti estimates.

ITA0039 | 100% Italian Taste Certification, which thanks to its certification process dedicated to the restaurant world, verifies that behind the classic Italian symbols shown on the packaging and signs, there is an authentic Italian restaurant, which uses original products from Italian suppliers .

The 100% Italian Taste certified restaurants will soon be available on a new platform, currently under development, which will connect them with direct customers – who will finally have a tool to know what is in the dishes served at their table – and with Italian producers , to which overseas restaurateurs can finally turn to buy authentic Made in Italy products.

Thanks to the support of the valid partners who accompany the journey of the ITA0039 protocol and the enthusiasm found in the many Italian restaurateurs in the world, the certification evolves from a recognition and authenticity award tool – the only one issued by an accredited professional body after a transparent and effective process – and becomes a real virtuous network, dedicated to the enhancement and diffusion of Italian food and wine products in the world.
