In the elegant location of the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Glasgow, the Italian Awards in Scotland were held on November 26 to celebrate the excellence of the best Italian restaurants in the entire nation.

ITA0039 by ASACERT was a partner in the initiative again this year.

More than 120 restaurateurs competed to win the ITA0039 Award, responding to some of the criteria reflecting the check-list of the certification protocol studied by Asacert. A survey administered to all restaurants enrolled in the Italian Awards, which decreed the winner as the best interpreter of the value of Italian cuisine.

Winning the award was the restaurant “Verona,” a modern Italian restaurant located in downtown Glasgow. The menu features a wide selection of pasta and pizza. In addition to this, the Verona restaurant offers a wide range of risottos, meat and fish dishes, and many vegetarian options.

In addition to receiving the Award from the hands of Alba Capaccioli, PM & Organizational Development of Asacert, the Verona restaurant will follow the certification process according to the ITA0039 | 100% Italian Taste Certification standard.

“With joy and gratitude, we welcome the prestigious recognition by ITA0039. We sincerely thank Asacert for recognizing our commitment to promoting Italian cuisine in Glasgow. We dedicate this award to Italy with affection and gratitude,” says Carmine Striano of Verona Restaurant.
